Sailport Waterfront Suites

The way the room was set up was great the kids loved the bunk beds built into the wall, but bring a sleeping blindfold if you plan on sleeping in the bedroom. Also, bring some roach spray!

Great hotel on Rocky Point with spacious suite including 1-BR, bathroom, full kitchen (large fridge, stove, dishwasher, pots/pans/glasses/silverware/plates). Living area with pull-out couch sleeper, porch deck, and large hallway desk counter for laptop computer setup. Wireless internet worked flawlessly. Outdoor swimming pool and deck right next to shoreline were great for kids; pool towels were provided and pool water was quite warm for April. Nice view of the bay, good location for sports stadiums, good location for access to Clearwater and highways to St. Pete, very comfortable.

It was a good room. The view of the bay was very nice.

If shuttle service is to be offered more vans are needed. When we called for the shuttle we were put on hold for 9 minutes. More office help is needed. Air conditioning did not appear to work and there were no instructions for its operation. All in all, a very mediocre experience. ...read more

I enjoyed my stay; the staff was very friendly and helpful, even when I arrived at midnight. It was small, the room was narrow (more of a rectangle), but plenty for me! I had a second floor suite with private balcony that looked out onto the pool and the ocean beyond - I was able to leave my balcony door open the whole time (the weather was great!). Their pool area looked nice but I sunned myself on their beach (kids all were at the pool). The beach was nice, small, but plenty of room to stretch out.
